Former Mayor - City of Blue Lake
I encourage Blue Lake residents to vote for Charis Bowman for City Council in November. Having served on the Blue Lake City Council for 13 years, I have worked with many former Council members. Charis impresses me as a person who understands the demands of the job and will enjoy serving our community.
Michael Fields
Local Business Owner
I am writing this to endorse Charis Bowman for Blue Lake City Council.
Charis was on the board of Dell'Arte Inc. when I was Producing Artistic Director there. I worked with her in that capacity. Serving on a non profit board can be tricky, so can being on the city council. In working with Charis, I found that she really came to serve the organization. It wasn't about power or self interest or personal agenda. It was about "service". Charis chose to "serve"... and it made a huge difference for the good of it all. And I believe it will make a huge positive difference for the future of Blue Lake. Charis listens and acts for the common good in collaboration with all. This is my experience of working with her. And it is why I am supporting her now. Please vote you all. It matters.
Elizabeth Mackay

I have worked with Charis Bowman on various city related commissions and found her to be a levelheaded and grounded person who works well with others. I fully support her decision to become a council member and look forward to seeing our new council in action.
